Meet Our Staff

Hello Parents!

Here are the individuals behind the scenes who ensure that each of your childcare needs are met! We find fulfillment in helping others, especially parents, be worry free! Starting out, this business back in 2016, we had no idea that God would allow our purpose in a family’s lives to go this far! Giving parents in the RDU and surrounding areas a needed service, where we think outside the box with activities during services and care deeply about a child's development! We value an open, personal relationship between us, our team of sitters, and parents who we serve, because as a parent myself, I understand the security and sensitivity that stands between a parent and their child! To all our parents who have trusted in us to fulfill your needs, thank you for all your support! We look forward to continuing lasting relationships and meeting the childcare needs of many more parents!

Shante Newman
Drop In Childcare Team Member

Hello I’m Shante! I have worked with children for the past 3 years at Duke School as both a teaching assistant and After School Teacher. Working with children ranging from ages 5-12 years old.

Children are so innocent and at times a bit unpredictable, which is what I enjoy the most!

Being a helping hand in their lives with growing up, developing positive social/educational skills and exploring their creativity is very important to me.

I am currently a student at NCCU, obtaining a degree in psychology with a strong interest in forensics. Prior to NCCU I obtained an associates degree and have a background in the arts having graduated from the Art Institute of Raleigh Durham in 2017.

Personally my favorite craft would have to be anything dealing with collages and painting. These two things allow the children to be 100% creative and feel what they’re doing. Painting can be both fun and therapeutic at times allowing them focus and put what they feel on paper.

Cyana Davis
Drop In Childcare Floater

Hello! My name is Cyana Davis, I am 21 years old, and I am currently a student at North Carolina Central University. For a long time, I’ve always loved working with children, and I have such passion for them. I worked with children for about 5 years and hope to continue for a lifetime. What I enjoy the most about working with kids is that it’s so very easy to make them happy and being able to make a difference in their lives. After graduating I would like to become a behaviorist and work with all children of young ages to even young adult ages. I would like to help children that go through autism, behavioral issues and even children that struggle with daily day to day life stressors. I am most certainly CPR certified. Lastly, I like doing all sorts of crafts like painting, drawing and other educational fun activities.
